Session 1: Magnolia blossoms at Rawlins Park and nearby. Saturday March 27, 8am. IPS members have priority. Non-IPS members maybe considered if spots are available. Anyone who has experienced spring in DC has likely noticed that the beautiful saucer magnolia blossoms bursting forth with white and pink colors just before the more famous cherry blossoms come on the scene. Rawlins Park, just a few blocks from the MC building, is a quiet lunch spot for most of the year but in the spring this spot is awash in these blossoms. It’s a small area but so many different perspectives. You can even try some portraits there! And the nearby DAR Constitution hall has some lovely blossoms nearby as well.
IPS friend and photographer Angela Pan hosts a small group photo walk to capture spring blossoms! (photo by Angela)
