This is a trip to Horseshoe Canyon Ranch for the youth projecting group. The youth projecting group is for high school age climbers who want to participate in multiple trips to HCR to work on sport routes that will take multiple trips to send.
To participate in these trips, you should:
* be able to attend at least two of the three trips on 2/22, 3/29, and 5/3;
* be confident sport climbing outside;
* be able to project routes of grade 5.10 or higher;
* have a high level of psych for trying hard on hard routes.
All of the trips will be overnight trips to HCR. We will leave Memphis Rox at 4pm on the Friday, camp at HCR Friday night, climb Saturday, and return to HCR by around 10pm Saturday night. We will eat dinners on the road Friday and Saturday, and each participant will bring her own breakfast, lunch, and snacks for Saturday. MOCS can provide camping gear as needed.
