The SHM SC Lowcountry Chapter will be holding an in-person event on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. ET at Harbour Club at WestEdge in Charleston, SC. Please join the chapter for networking and for the chapter's Scientific Abstract Competition where local residents and students will be showcasing their work in research, innovations and clinical research.

The SHM SC Lowcountry Chapter invites Residents and Medical Students to submit abstracts for its annual Scientific Abstract Competition.

Submission Deadline: Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. ET
The winner is encouraged to submit their poster to the National Scientific Abstract Competition taking place during SHM’s annual Conference, Converge, in Nashville, TN, March 29 - April 1, 2026 and will be required to submit their abstract to the national submission site by the November 24, 2025 deadline in order to be accepted. This winner will also receive a travel stipend to attend the conference.
