The SHM Rocky Mountain Chapter is holding an in-person event on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. MT at Cheluna Brewery in Aurora, CO. Please join us for networking and a talk titled "Comfort Care: Tips & Tricks for Hospitalists". Our local Palliative Care experts, Drs. Kimberly Indovina and Kelly Ferraro, will be sharing how to best care for patients who are hospitalized and requiring comfort-based measures.

Speakers

Dr. Kimberly Ann Indovina is an Internal Medicine, General Physician, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine Specialist and has an experience of 17 years in these fields. She completed Residency from University of Minnesota Medical Center Fairview in 2012, Medical School from University of Colorado School of Medicine in 2009, and Internship from University of Minnesota Medical Center Fairview in 2010.

She is a member of the American College of Physicians, Society of Hospital Medicine, Society of General Internal Medicine, and American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.

Dr. Kelly Patricia Ferraro is an Internal Medicine, General Physician, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine Specialist and has an experience of 18 years in these fields. She completed Medical School from Emory University School of Medicine in 2008.

She is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine, the  American College of Physicians, and the American Academy of Hospice & Palliative Medicine.
