The SHM Rocky Mountain Chapter is hosting an in person event on Wednesday, November 5th at 6:00 p.m. MT at the Denver Aquarium Nautilus Ballroom in Denver, CO. Please join the chapter to meet and network with other hospitalists in your community and for an educational presentation titled "Bringing the Hospital to the Patient: Insights from a Home Hospitalist," provided by Manuel Jose Diaz, MD, FHM.
Dr. Manuel Jose Diaz currently serves as the Advanced Care Medical Director for the West Region and the National Medical Director for Diagnostics and Clinical Lab Quality at DispatchHealth, positions held since April 2021. Additionally, Manuel holds the title of Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus since July 2016. Previous roles include Medical Director for Transitional Care and Innovation at DispatchHealth, Physician Advisor for Patient Flow at University of Colorado Hospital, Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at San Francisco VA, and Resident Physician at UCSF. Dr. Manuel Jose Diaz obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completed a Bachelor's degree at Northwestern University, along with an Internal Medicine Residency and Chief Residency at UCSF.
When you arrive to the Downtown Aquarium, please pull into either parking lot entrance lane. Once you reach the kiosk, you'll press the button on the lower left corner of the touchscreen that reads "Other Access Options", then "Access Code", then enter your event's access code (1105). The kiosk will print you a ticket, the gate will rise, and you may park. Please leave the ticket in your car. After you park, you'll proceed directly across the street and into the Nautilus Ballroom Entrance where we will greet you for your event. When you're ready to leave, you'll simply scan the barcode on the kiosk's ticket at the exit gate.
