Dr. Sathya Machani, MD, FACP is an academic internal medicine physician practicing in USA since 2010. He graduated in 1995 from one of the top 10 universities which represents Kasturba medical college, Mangalore, in the southern state of India. In 1997, he relocated to Jamaica (West Indies/Caribbean island) and worked there until 2010. Serving the people of that country at various levels and sectors in healthcare. He moved to USA in 2009 and pursued Residency in Internal Medicine from University Of North Dakota, Fargo in 2010. After completing his residency in 2013, he has been in academic positions at his residency program, until he moved to Pittsburgh in 2015, after accepting a job at WVU medicine Wheeling Hospital family medicine residency program and served as Associate program director, until recently he accepted a position at UPMC McKeesport internal medicine residency program as core faculty member. He also is involved in mentorship program called usmleresidencymentor.com where he mentors medical graduates pursuing higher education or residency in USA. He is podcaster (WTF - We Talk Facts), bringing experts in the field of medicine to discuss various aspects of healthcare industry and medical education. Finally, he is also a medical content creator for healthcare professionals who want to learn aspects of medicine virtually.
