The SHM North Jersey Chapter is hosting an in-person event on Wednesday, October 8th at 5:30 p.m. ET at The Frog and The Peach in New Brunswick, NJ. Please join the chapter to meet and network with other clinicians in your community and for an educational presentation titled "Heparin Induced Thrombocytopenia and Thrombosis," provided by Dr. Shuang Guo.
Dr. Shuang Guo is an associate professor in the division of hematology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She specializes in classical hematology and thrombotic disorders, with a special interest in cancer-associated thrombosis. Dr. Guo is a core clinical faculty for the hematology/oncology fellowship program and is the Hematology Elective Director for the medical school and residency. Dr. Guo sees outpatients in the clinical academic building and rounds on the inpatient hematology consultation service at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and the Jack & Sheryl Morris Cancer Center.
