Dr. Sunil Kripalani will explore the critical links between social needs and health outcomes, discuss national policies, and unveil cutting-edge approaches for integrating social care into hospital settings. This presentation will offer a vital look at how addressing HRSN can transform patient care and improve healthcare delivery.
Sunil Kripalani, MD, MSc, is a Professor of Medicine and Health Policy at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He directs the Vanderbilt Center for Health Services Research, serves as Vice President for Health System Sciences, and previously founded the Section of Hospital Medicine at VUMC. He has led research to evaluate the impact of social and behavioral factors on health outcomes and helps oversee efforts at VUMC to screen for health-related social needs.
