Delvin Joyce is the Founder and President of Prosperity Wealth Group, a financial planning firm based in Charlotte, NC, serving clients throughout the United States.
Originally from Martinsville, VA, Delvin attended James Madison University, earning a B.A. in Business Marketing. While at JMU, he was a member of the football team and received multiple All-Conference and All-America honors while breaking several school and NCAA records. Shortly after leaving JMU, Delvin joined the New York Football Giants as an un-drafted Free Agent in 2002 and made an immediate impact as the starting punt and kick returner. He retired from the NFL in 2005 and relocated to Charlotte, NC.
Delvin joined Prudential's North Carolina Financial Group as a Financial Services Associate in October 2006 and has held numerous leadership roles in Prudential Advisors, including most recently, Managing Director of the South Florida Financial Group from 2012 to 2017.
In July of 2017, Delvin returned to Charlotte to found Prosperity Wealth Group to help individuals and families achieve their financial objectives through fee-based financial planning. With a focus on community empowerment through financial literacy, Delvin often hosts or is invited to speak at seminars and events across the country to promote financial wellness. He has been a frequent contributor to financial! articles for various media publications including The Washington Post, USA Today, Money Magazine, and Nerd Wallet, while also serving as a featured speaker and panelist for multiple financial industry conferences.

In 2019, Delvin was recognized by Black Enterprise Magazine as a BE Modem Man, a campaign designed to celebrate black men making valuable contributions in every profession, industry, community, and area of endeavor. In 2024, he received a Pathfinder Award from Wealth Solutions Report as one of the Top Black Industry Leaders in the FinanciaI Advisor category. He serves on the Board of Directors for Youth Development Initiatives Inc, a Charlotte-based non-profit that provides support for disadvantaged adolescent youth, and the Finance Executive Advisory Board for the James Madison University College of Business.
