Join your fellow SHM Chapter Leaders and District Chairs for an in-person training and networking session taking place on Advanced Learning Course (ALC) Day at Converge 2026, March 29th, from 1-5 p.m. in Nashville, TN. Please note for travel reasons that these events occur the day before the main conference begins.
The annual in-person training and networking session is organized by the Chapter Support Committee (comprised of the 12 District Chairs) and SHM Staff. The training session this year will focus on strengthening membership engagement and chapter growth. Through collaborative workshops, Chapter Leaders will brainstorm and refine new approaches to member outreach, programming, and engagement. Attendees will exchange real-world tactics for energizing their chapters, growing participation, and showcasing SHM’s value locally.
In addition to the training, leaders will connect through structured networking sessions organized by district and by chapter membership size. These connections provide a space to share challenges, spark new ideas, and build supportive relationships with peers from around the country.
All Chapter Leaders are strongly encouraged to attend this high-impact session to gain practical tools, elevate their chapter’s engagement strategy, and expand their network within the SHM community.
