Power of Better Business Roundtable + Better Business Mixer

The Foundation for Better Business, in partnership with the Texas Conference for Women, invites you to the October edition of She Means Business: Power of Better Business. This inspiring event is designed for women entrepreneurs, small business owners, and innovation-minded leaders, and will be held the evening before the 2025 Texas Conference for Women.

We will explore the deeply human experience of self-doubt in leadership, how it shows up, how it can be reframed, and how leaders can authentically support themselves and others through moments of uncertainty. Panelists will share practical strategies to move beyond surface-level encouragement and instead provide the kind of authentic, evidence-based, and empowering support that fuels both personal and organizational growth.

Roundtable Topic:
Reframing Self-Doubt: Empowering Women to Lead with Confidence and Authenticity

Hear from a panel of dynamic women leaders and meet them at the post-panel mixer. The discussion will be video recorded, photographed, and covered by the Austin Business Journal, with highlights featured in a post-event article.

Speakers:
Moderator: Tamara Fields, US Public Service Industry Lead and Austin Office Managing Director of Accenture

Panelists:

Dr. Kristi Kirk, President and CEO of Concordia University

Interested in joining the panel? Contact foundation@austin.bbb.org for details.
