We are excited to invite you to a FREE SEND Inclusion in PE Workshop, delivered by Angela Lydon in partnership with the Huddersfield Town Foundation. This workshop is ideal for anyone looking to improve confidence in delivering inclusive PE, enhance provision for pupils with SEND, and leave with practical tools you can implement straight away.
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to strengthen your school’s approach to inclusive PE and gain practical, ready‑to‑use strategies that make a real difference for your pupils.
Each school is welcome to bring up to two staff members, and the session will include a balanced mix of theory and practical learning, all tailored to the needs of your setting.
 
Workshop Agenda
  • 1:00–1:10 – Welcome & Introduction
  • 1:10–1:20 – Table discussion: What was PE like for you?
  • 1:25–1:30 – Group feedback
  • 1:30–1:40 – Overview of the STEP principle
  • 1:40–2:00 – Practical session: Applying STEP in PE
  • 2:00–2:10 – Break
  • 2:10–2:30 – Tailored “Top Tips” for adapting PE for different areas of disability
  • 2:30–3:00 – Case study carousel (5 minutes each + feedback)
  • 3:00–3:30 – Open Q&A, discussion, and close
