In addition general safety, you will be introduced to some of the most commonly used tools in the woodshop, receiving hands-on safety training for the following tools: table saw, miter saw, band saw, and drill press.

After the training session, you will be required to take an exam. You may take the exam immediately following the 2 hour training session or you may choose to come back anytime during Sculpture Studio Open Hours to take it.

Fall 2017 Sculpture Studio Open Hours are: Mondays 5-9pm, Thursdays 5-9pm, and Fridays 12-4pm. These hours are posted at the entrance to CG-146.
