Foundations .5 Course (Must have Completed Prior to 3 Day in Person)

The Foundations online (Kajabi) course provides a thorough grounding in the theoretical framework of developmental trauma, which you can complete at your own pace. Assignments help you explore activities for use with developmental trauma clients, enhancing activation access during sessions. You'll also engage in personal activations. This intensive dive into assessment and activation access may benefit from supportive discussions and Brainspotting-focused follow-ups.

Foundations Course Learning Objectives:

  • Key research findings on Developmental Trauma
  • Misdiagnoses like ODD, ADHD, GAD, and their links to trauma
  • Proposed Developmental Trauma Disorder diagnosis
  • Trauma-focused assessments
  • Techniques for deepening emotional access with clients
  • Exploring the 24-hour flashback concept
  • Successful completion includes extra 16 CEs

 

Live Workshop

Day One: Examining the Dual Attunement Frame in Developmental Trauma

Learning Objectives:
  • Dialing in on Dysregulation
  • Friending Defensive Structures
  • Common Brainspotting Responses from DT
  • Trenching: Narrowing down to Precise Activation Access

Day Two: Healing Internalized Childhood Capsules

Learning Objectives:
  • Re-Examining Parts work
  • Clean Language
  • 2 Demonstrations and 2 Practicums

Day Three: Healing the Child Within

Learning Objectives:
  • Healing Key Childhood Moments
  • Adoption and Relinquishment Strategies
  • Strategic Re-Integrating Survivors for lasting result
