This half-day course is aimed at anyone who needs to understand the fundamental principles of safeguarding Adults at Risk.
Learning Outcomes:
- Define an Adult at Risk in the context of the current legal framework and national guidance
- Understand the basic legal principles for safeguarding Adults at Risk - and translate these in practice using case scenarios
- Describe how to respond safely to an adult who tells them something that either is or may indicate a safeguarding concern
- Understand the process for reporting and recording these concerns
- Be aware of further reading materials and resources
Who: Anyone who would like to increase, refresh, update or extend their knowledge, understanding and confidence in the fundamental principles of safeguarding adults in the football club charity environment.
