Want to boost your customer's RVing experience? loin us on Saturday February 3rd at Lakewood Camping Resort for a hands-on look at an RV with an RV Industry Association Representative from the RV Technical Institute. Park operators/managers are often the 1st people to tend to a guest experiencing technical difficulties with their RV. This session will teach some basics to help get guests safely on the road, save a vacation that may be going downhill fast, and make your campground stand out as one of the best with customer service!
SESSION WILL INCLUDE:
¦ Basic Electricity Testing & Safety Wattage, Voltage and Amperage.
¦ What is lost when using a dog bone?
¦ Tripping breakers on a 30 Amp camper, replacing fuses, where are the circuit breakers located?
¦ How to hook up Cable TV, how to turn off the antenna amplifier, Wi-Fi, satellite signal, and set up.
¦ What a generator ATO switch is, what happens when it goes bad. How to check.
¦ Basic water systems.
¦ LP system.
¦ What appliances can be used at the same time in season, appliances troubleshooting -
(HVAC, water heater, furnace trouble and refrigerator trouble shooting quick checks).
¦ Broken awnings both electric and manual.
¦ Getting a slide room back in (6 different types).
¦ Troubleshooting inoperable jacks and Landing gear.
¦ Auto levelers jack not working correctly, how to override leveling jack.
¦ Chassis, Hydraulics and Towing.
This session will have a separate registration and will not require CARVC Conference registration!
Transportation is not provided. You will need to find transportation to Lakewood Camping Resort.
