Trip to Jamestown Crag for Rox youth team members. All Rox youth program climbers are welcome to attend, but we will be setting routes geared toward younger and newer team climbers -- generally 5.5 - 5.9.
MOCS is a non-profit, and one of our core principles is that everyone should just pay what they can. The full cost for MOCS to guide a single kid at the crag is about $50, including transportation, guide wages, insurance, and climber and guide equipment. Please use the donation option to cover the $50 cost of the trip if you can afford it. But If you can't afford to pay the $50, we absolutely want you to come on the trip!
You are welcome to drive your child to Jamestown and spend the day with us. If your kid is ten or older, we can arrange transportation either with a guide driving or with another parent. For those getting a ride, we will depart from Memphis Rox at 6:30am sharp and return between 6:00pm and 7:00pm (we will give your child an ETA on the way back for her to text you). For those driving to the crag with their kids, we will meet in the Jamestown Crag parking lot at 9:30 sharp.
