Army Col. Lisa Jaster is a soldier, engineer, wife, mother, and trailblazer—one of only three women to graduate from the first integrated U.S. Army Ranger program, and the first female Army Reserve officer to earn the Ranger tab. Known for her grit, she completed the grueling six-month course at age 37—well above the average trainee age of 23—persevering through multiple re-cycles of intense training that eliminates 36% of candidates in the first four days.
A West Point graduate, Lisa served seven years on active duty with tours in Iraq and Afghanistan before working as an engineer at Shell and rejoining the Army Reserve in 2012. She volunteered for Ranger School when it first opened to women in 60 years, proving that “there is no quitting.”
Today, she is a senior consultant with Talent War Group, a lieutenant colonel in the Army Reserve, and author of , an Amazon bestseller offering lessons on breaking barriers. Her honors include two Bronze Star Medals and three Meritorious Service Medals. Lisa’s high-energy keynotes inspire audiences with lessons on perseverance, leadership, and teamwork.
