Rigo Landeros Memorial Golf Tournament

In 2014, Fire Chief Rigo Landeros and a group of other volunteers organized the first annual Fillmore Firefighters Foundation Golf Tournement to raise money for the foundation. It was very successful in creating funds for the foundation, which providesimportant funding for personal protective equipment, safety and rescue gear, emergency medical supplies and continuing education and training for the membership that might not otherwise be available to the Firefighters of the department.  They in turn donate countless volunteer hours in both Emergency Response and training to prepare for Emergencies in order to protect the citizens of the City of Fillmore.

This year the Tournament has been renamed to honor of our former Chief, Rigo Landeros, who passed away earlier this year. Rigo was tireless in his support of the Foundation, the volunteer Firefighters of Fillmore Fire Department and most importantly, the citizens of Fillmore.
