Restraint and Seclusion Training includes the following components:

·       Overview of the Restraint and Seclusion Law

·       Restorative Practices: Preventative Strategies

·       CPI Non-violent Physical Crisis Intervention Training.  This course is a program to address severe verbal and physical behaviors while providing the best possible Care, Welfare, Safety and Security TM for all involved in a student crisis.

·       Documentation Requirements

This is a full day course.

Target audience: General and Special Education staffs who are the “key identified staff” assigned to student crisis behavior teams at a building level within the school districts of the Wexford-Missaukee Intermediate School District.

·       6.0 professional development hours
