Workshop presenters, Kevin Pedrey and Joshua Morton, have years of combined experience helping people improve core strength, reduce back pain, restore movement, and build greater confidence in their bodies. Drawing from backgrounds in corrective exercise, mobility training, strength and conditioning, stretching therapy, and wellness education, Kevin and Joshua bring a practical, hands-on approach focused on helping participants move and feel better in everyday life.
The Restore & Strengthen: Core and Back Workshop is designed to help participants better understand the relationship between the core, spine, posture, breathing, and overall movement health. Many people experience tightness, weakness, instability, or discomfort in the back due to modern lifestyle habits, repetitive movement patterns, poor posture, stress, or lack of movement variety. This workshop aims to provide simple, effective tools that can help restore balance, improve body awareness, and support long-term spinal health.
Throughout the workshop, participants will learn a variety of safe and effective stretches, mobility drills, strengthening exercises, breathing techniques, and corrective movement strategies designed to improve stability, flexibility, posture, coordination, and overall back function. Special emphasis will be placed on building a strong and functional core, improving movement mechanics, and developing healthy habits that support the body both during exercise and everyday activities.
This workshop is appropriate for all fitness levels and is ideal for individuals looking to improve movement quality, reduce stiffness and tension, prevent future issues, support recovery from everyday aches and pains, or simply feel stronger and more connected in their bodies. Whether you are active, sedentary, recovering from discomfort, or looking to build a stronger foundation for exercise and daily life, this workshop offers valuable education and practical tools that can be applied immediately.
Participants will leave with a greater understanding of how the body functions as an integrated system, along with take-home handouts and exercises that can be incorporated into a regular wellness or fitness routine. Our goal is to create an encouraging and educational environment where participants feel empowered with simple strategies to move better, feel stronger, and support long-term health and wellness.
