2). You have read and agree to the terms and conditions of this event set forth below.
By registering for this Reiki Retreat you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms are a legally binding agreement between the participant and the organizer.
The Retreat is designed to provide education, meditation, and Reiki practice.
Reiki is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
The Organizer does not provide any medical or healthcare services. If a medical emergency occurs the Organizer may contact emergency services. Participants remain responsible for all resulting medical expenses.
Participants must:
Be at least 18 years of age unless accompanied by a parent/legal guardian.
Complete registration form
Inform the Organizer of any medical conditions or circumstances that may affect participation.
The Organizer reserves the right to decline or discontinue participation where it is reasonably believed that participation would present a risk to the Participant or others.
Participants agree to:
Decline any activity they do not wish to participate in.
Inform staff if they become unwell.
Seek appropriate medical care if necessary.
Assumption of Risk
Participants acknowledge that attendance at the Retreat involves inherent risks including, but not limited to:
Slips, trips, and falls
Outdoor environmental hazards
Physical movement during activities
Emotional responses arising from retreat activities
Travel-related risks
Participants voluntarily assume all such risks.
Release and Waiver of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Participants release and hold harmless the Organizer, instructors, volunteers, venue owners, employees, and agents from liability for injury, illness, loss, damage, or expense arising from participation in the Retreat, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Participants are encouraged to obtain: travel. Medical, trip cancellation and personal property insurance. The Organizer is not responsible for uninsured losses.
Cancellation by Participant
More than 90 days before the Retreat: full refund
60–89 days before: 50% refund.
Less than 60 days before: no refund.
Cancellation by Organizer
The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, postpone, relocate, or modify the Retreat due to circumstances including:
Severe weather
Natural disasters
Public health emergencies
Venue issues
Instructor illness
Insufficient registrations
Circumstances beyond reasonable control
If the Organizer cancels the Retreat, Participants will receive a full refund of monies paid to the Organizer.The Organizer is not responsible for airfare, travel costs, accommodation booked independently, lost wages, or other consequential expenses.
Participants agree to:
Respect confidentiality.
Follow reasonable instructions from retreat staff.
Refrain from harassment, discrimination, intimidation, violence, or disruptive behaviour.
Not attend activities while impaired by alcohol or drugs.
Participants whose behaviour jeopardizes the safety or wellbeing of others may be removed from the Retreat without refund.
Confidentiality
Participants are asked to respect the privacy of all attendees.
The Organizer cannot guarantee confidentiality by other participants.
Photography and Media
The Organizer may take photographs or video during the Retreat.
Participants may opt out of identifiable photography by notifying the Organizer before the Retreat begins.Participants agree not to photograph or record other attendees without their permission.
All retreat materials remain the intellectual property of the Organizer unless otherwise stated. Participants may use materials for personal learning only.
Participants should notify the Organizer of dietary requirements and accessibility needs as early as possible. While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate requests, the Organizer cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Force Majeure
The Organizer shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters, Government restrictions, War, Utility failures, Transportation disruptions
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshie unless otherwise specified. Any legal proceedings shall be brought in the appropriate courts of that state.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Participant and Organizer regarding participation in the Retreat and supersede all prior discussions or representations.
By registering for the Retreat, the Participant confirms that they:
Have read these Terms and Conditions.
Understand the nature of the Retreat.
Participate voluntarily.
Agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions
