Brief description of this course:
There are men and women who value skills that perserve life and family. At Red River Tactical, we are prepared to train you beyond conceal carry.
This is a 7 hour course designed for the carrying concealed deadly weapon license holder, someone more advanced than a beginner and is looking for more practical and defensive handgun training. We start with the handgun safety on your person and proper attitude of a CCDW license holder.
Class time:
In the classroom, we will cover safety and identifying a threat; describe and prepare for adrenalin and close encounters and practice drawing from the holster, without ammunition. We will discuss personal emergency medical response.
Range:
We will then move to the range for a day of real live shooting where we will quickly progress to some dynamic movement and defensive scenarios, like shooting from cover, moving and shooting, advancing and retreating, one handed shooting, shooting around barricades, proper use of cover, and more.
Participants must read and understand the RANGE SAFETY RULES and sign a liability release waiver prior to attending.
