Losing her Dad to suicide as a young teenager, she has found that turning her pain into a purpose through advocacy, education, and awareness has helped her in her healing journey. Furthermore, it has allowed her to share her stories with other survivors to offer hope and togetherness. It is her aspiration to let other survivors know they are not alone. Brandy has been married for nine years to her husband, Randy, and enjoys raising her spunky toddler, Greyson. She enjoys spending time with her family by taking walks, sharing meals, and just enjoying one another. She also loves to read, write, exercise, and practice yoga.
