We are thrilled to extend our invitation to the inaugural RACE TO THE PIGEONS. An epic 270km relay event in teams of 4 where you will find your own path from Williamstown to Yarrawonga -with the only rule being you can't run on the Hume highway.
Kicking off at 10am on the 19th July and seeing how long it will take your team to reach Yarrawonga. One runner at a time and the other three are in the support vehicle waiting for their turn.
Find your crew and just go as fast as you can. The race to the pigeons has been designed to push you and your team out of your comfort zone and see how far you can take your mind and body.
Remember there are no rules so you can break up the distances with your team however you like. You will see teams break their runs up into smaller intervals such as 5km and 10km while other teams will take on larger segments or run for time. Just tag your next runner and away they go.
2024 will see over 20 teams take on this epic challenge to see who will be crowned the fastest team. There are three categories 1-All female team, 2-All Male team and 3-mixed team, all competing to win a piece of the prize money.
