Get the most out of your wildlife photos

My live online class for editing and processing wildlife and bird photos in Adobe Lightroom Classic is a comprehensive, step‑by‑step learning experience. The course focuses on refining your images with an emphasis on Lightroom’s powerful adjustment tools and advanced masking features.

The class begins with an introduction to my workflow for importing and organizing wildlife and bird photographs efficiently, and how to quickly triage your photos.

Key modules include:

  1. Global Adjustments – Learn how to fine‑tune brightness, contrast, color balance, and texture to bring out the natural details in feathers, fur, and habitat.
  2. Masking Techniques – Explore Lightroom’s brush, linear, radial, and AI‑powered masks to selectively enhance subjects, blur distracting backgrounds, and guide the viewer’s eye.
  3. Noise Reduction and Sharpening – Understand how to reduce high‑ISO noise common in wildlife photography while maintaining sharpness and detail.
  4. Color and Tone Control – Lightroom's color tools to enhance the vibrancy of your bird and wildlife images without over‑processing.
  5. Finishing Touches and Exporting – Learn my tips for creating subtle vignettes, final review, and exporting for web or print.

By the end of this class, you’ll have the confidence to transform raw wildlife captures into professional‑quality images using Lightroom Classic’s adjustment tools and masking capabilities.
