We are excited to invite you to the Premier League Coaching and Performance Summit at Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, Manchester.

Focusing on first team and professional development phase coaches and performance staff, the Summit will shine a light on collaboration through a multidisciplinary approach, for the modern game.

Dress code:

  • Monday 11 November: Dinner – Smart-Casual, Office Wear

  • Tuesday 12 November: Summit – Smart-Casual

Premier League

The Premier League is responsible for the development of the Professional Game coaching in partnership with the Premier League Clubs and Professional Game partner organisations (FA, EFL, PFA, and LMA) to develop a future pipeline of Players and Coaches for the Premier League and English Football. This is achieved via the ongoing delivery of the Premier League’s Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP), Elite Coaching Plan (ECP) and the Integrated Coaching Strategy (ICS) with our football partners.

Edin Terzić is a German professional football coach and former player who was most recently the head coach of Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund. After retiring from playing, Terzić worked as a scout and youth assistant coach at Borussia Dortmund. Following spells as an assistant to Slaven Bilić, he obtained a UEFA Pro Licence in 2018. He returned to Dortmund as head coach in 2020, winning the DFB-Pokal in 2021 and reaching the UEFA Champions League final in 2024.

Kevin Thelwell is an English football coach who is currently the Director of Football of Premier League club Everton FC. Previously, Kevin was the Director of Football at Wolverhampton Wanderers, having previously held the position of academy manager and then later Head of Football Development and recruitment at the club, having held similar roles at Derby County and Preston North End. Prior to this, Thelwell was Director of Coach Education for the Football Association of Wales Trust where he was responsible for the UEFA Advanced Licence and Pro Licence courses.
