Post 301 is one of the three required 30-hour courses in North Carolina’s Postlicensing education program. These courses are designed to expand on the foundational knowledge from Prelicensing by providing deeper instruction on topics essential to the active practice of real estate brokerage.

Topics covered in this course include:

  • A comprehensive review of agency relationships in residential and commercial sales, as well as commercial property management

  • A broker’s legal duties to both clients and customers

  • Step-by-step guidance on the roles and responsibilities of brokers working with property owners and buyers/tenants

  • Key issues that arise with transactions in progress when a broker departs a firm

  • Important license status and education requirements every broker should understand
