We are looking to you to make a difference in how our current and future employees experience our organization. We are looking to build focus groups of employees and managers to advise on multiple current and new policies for Home Forward.
We want to empower you to contribute suggestions, feedback, edits, and personal experiences about how an existing or new policy is effective, efficient, and takes into account organizational and racial equity.
How will this work?
APPLICATION: We encourage you to sign-up to participate in a focus group for one or more policies on the schedule. We will be selecting from the list of those interested to ensure that we have representation across unions, locations, positions, and race/ethnicity. We will have focus groups for employees and managers.
STRUCTURE: Each focus group will start on a Monday for comments, edits, suggestions on the policy for the week, then you will participate in a focus group discussion via Zoom. Next, your collective suggestions or edits will be presented the following week to the Director’s Group for review.To wrap-up the session I will follow-up with each group on their feedback and discuss ideas on how to put the changes into action.
WHO GETS THE FINAL SAY? You will be serving as a voluntary advisor, who will have input on the policy revisions and how accepted changes would be put into action at Home Forward. Final approval of the two group’s recommendations will be made by the Directors.
