The FIT Library’s first Love Your Library event is just in time for LGBTQ+ History Month! It will feature a screening and moderated discussion of the award-winning documentary Playing With Dolls, on October 15, at 6:30pm in Katie Murphy Amphitheater. Playing With Dolls is a beautifully crafted and emotionally rich documentary capturing the lives of midtown Manhattan’s transgender showgirl community from the 1970s through the 1990s. With themes of artistry, resilience, and self-expression, it brings visibility to a powerful history often left untold.

Ms. Lina Bradford will moderate a discussion with FIT Alumna, Miss Pearl, producer of the documentary, with other panelists.
