It's that time again..... Time to celebrate all we have experienced together as a chapter in the past year and look forward to all we hope to accomplish together in 2017. It's time for our annual luncheon and election of officers. Our theme this year is The Art of Creativity. Come enjoy the creative art of our speaker, Mili Suleman, the founder of a textile design business called KUFRI. She is a creative entrepreneur of hand-made textiles. A native of Bombay, India, Mili grew up in Oman before moving to Ft. Worth in 1998. On the KUFRI website, Mili says...
"What started as a way to stay connected with my mother, Maya, who lives in the Middle East, will quite likely turn into our legacy. My mother is an avid quilter and my travel companion as we explore villages seeking the best weaving units to bring classic and contemporary versions of hand-dyed, handwoven textiles. I hope you love these treasures as they truly are a labor of love."
