Pistol/Carbine 1.5 is a structured range day designed for shooters who are already familiar with the basics of owning both a handgun and carbine. This course allows shooters who have already taken a basic handgun and carbine course to further refine their skills under instruction. Topics covered include:

Marksmanship fundamentals

Holster draw

Slide-lock and tactical reloads

Immediate and remedial actions

Carbine to pistol transition

Multi-target engagement

Rhythm drills

Working positions

Carbine sight offsets

Expect pistol engagement distance between 3 and 25 yards, and carbine engagement between 3 and 100 yards.

There will be time provided for zero confirmation before the carbine section; however, carbines should arrive zeroed.
