This year’s theme, Resilience in Peer Support, highlights the strength, adaptability, and empathy Peer Support Specialists bring to their work every day, often while navigating complex systems, emotional labor, and their own recovery journeys. Rather than defining resilience as simply “pushing through” adversity, this summit centers resilience as a collective and sustainable practice grounded in mutual support, ethical boundaries, meaningful connection, and care for the peer workforce.
