Join OFC at the Quinte Community Pasture to learn more about the work they've completed under the Community Pastures Initiative. From creating a new water retention pond to provide a drinking water source, as well as habitat for wildlife, to installing a solar pump watering system, to creating new pasture, there's lots to discuss! The pasture will also talk about how they're intensifying their rotational grazing system.

This is a free event, open to anyone, but registration is required.

The Quinte Community Pasture is located in Stella on Amherst Island. The 1,250 acre pasture provides grazing for steers and heifers from May through October.
The Community Pastures Initiative is a $5 million investment from the governments of Canada and Ontario to help rejuvenate the community pastures, making them more productive and resilient. Learn more here.
