Parental Alienation Study Group, Inc. (PASG) is an international, not-for-profit organization. PASG has plus 500 members – mostly mental health and legal professionals – from 51 countries. The members of PASG are interested in educating the general public, mental health clinicians, forensic practitioners, attorneys, and judges regarding parental alienation. PASG members are also interested in developing and promoting research on the causes, evaluation, prevention, and treatment of Parental Alienation. 

 

Since 2017, PASG is organizing a yearly conference in order to bring their members together, organize educational sessions, plenary sessions, etc. In 2017, a 3-day conference has been held in Washington DC. 2018, our second PASG conference took place in Stockholm.

This year, we aim to open the conference not only to members of PASG but also to the public.

Mr. Megged studied family therapy with Ivan Boszormenyi-Nagy, Harry Aponte, Dr. Susanna Bullrich, Dr. Daniel Gottlieb, Judith Grinbaum and Dr. David Schnarch. Amy Baker is a developmental psychologist with a PhD from Teachers College of Columbia University. She is a researcher, an author, and an expert witness. She has provided trainings and workshops on the topic of parental alienation and psychological maltreatment to legal and mental health professionals around the world. Amy received her MA in counseling from Western Michigan University and her MDiv from Western Theological Seminary. Her practice includes many court-related counseling services, including parent-child reunification, parent coordination, and therapeutic supervised parenting. Maureen MacNeill is a Canadian journalist /editor/speechwriter working at an international organization in Vienna, Austria. After years of court battles initiated by the father of her children , throughout which she maaged to maintain both custody and healthy children, the father managed in 2016 to completely alienate the younger daughter (now 16). The older daughter (now 18) is also alienated, but maintains contact. Despite both girls failing out of school , becoming psychologically ill (the younger one severely suicidal and requiring 9 months of hospitalization), neitehr the hospital nor the social services intervened to remove from, and the court granted the father full custody.

Her three children were alienated by their farther when she divorced in 2000. She founded the self-help NGO ACALPA (Association against Parental Alienation) then wrote the book "Conflict Separations and Parental Alienation" with the psychiatrist Roland Broca. Fully involved in ACALPA, she has been working as a court interpreter for 8 years. She still has no news of her children.
