Due to the weather being a tad more windy than we had planned for, we have decided to change the location to Yalding instead, where we can hop on the River Beult, which is more sheltered.

There is loads of parking available where we will meet and picnic in The Lees Car Park (next to Twyford bridge and Teapot Island), which is £2.50 at the weekend.  Alternatively, there is usually free parking on the road close to The Anchor pub (which is sadly being refurbished at the mo).

Here's a map to the Lees Car Park:  https://goo.gl/maps/dXQX3vHNE992

Due to the popularity and not wanting people to miss out, we have put on a second paddling session from 3 - 5pm, so the day now looks like this:

From 10:30 - meet at the Lees Car Park and help pump up boards ;)

11:00 - 13:00 - Paddle along the River Beult and back

13:00 - 15:00 - Picnic (All welcome, bring your own, or pop into the lovely cafe at Teapot island)

15:00 - 17:00 - Paddle 2 along the River Beult and back.

Really looking forward to seeing you (and meeting some of you for the first time) tomorrow and having a lovely day on the water!

Best wishes,

Helen and Nick

WE HAVE ADDED AN AFTERNOON SESSION BY POPULAR DEMAND!

Join us on a paddle starting and finishing at Teston Bridge Country Park.
We'll take you on a guided paddle along the beautiful River Medway passing some of the Medway Valleys most scenic views. Bring a picnic and join us for a relaxed social afterwards at Teston.

This event is suitable for beginners.

PLEASE NOTE:

Teston does have toilet facilities.
There is a short walk to the launch point (approx 500m) but is across flat terrain and easy walking.

My first experience of SUP Yoga was in 2013, and I have never looked back! I practiced regularly in a pool and then on local rivers and lakes, encouraging my friends to join in too. Then in August 2014 I completed a SUP Yoga teacher training course with Gerry Broom at SUPfit in Hove. Since then, I’ve been teaching SUP Yoga and basic paddle technique classes, and also paddle regularly with my husband, Nick, and our friends. Nick and I have some more training on the horizon and have some really exciting events coming up in 2017! My aim is to make yoga in all its forms an enjoyable, accessible and healthy experience for all, and to show my enthusiasm for and dedication to yoga, health, happiness and nature with every moment I teach. When not on the mat, you might spot me exploring the Kentish countryside by foot, bike or paddleboard. In 2016 I did my first SUP triathlon #supbikerun, and am now looking forward to next year’s events, as well as a half marathon! Please cheer me on if you see me out training! I also love spending time with friends and family, experimenting with smoothies and healthy food and simply being in the great outdoors To expand my own practice, and to broaden the knowledge and tools I have to share this path of yoga with others, I dedicated much of the past year (March 2015 to April 2016) to completing a 500-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training with esteemed teacher training school, YogaLondon. This included even more anatomy and asana training
