Fathers,
We are excited to host another Fathers and Sons camping trip the weekend of November 14 - 16. For those who have never experienced a Fathers & Sons camping trip, this is your chance for an amazing experience with your son(s). If you’ve never been camping with your son, this is also the perfect opportunity to learn basic camping skills surrounded by several others who are always willing to lend a helping hand. We also will have games (e.g., wiffle ball and/or kickball) and activities (e.g., hiking and fishing) available at the campsite. This camping trip is available to fathers and sons of all ages.
We are also thrilled to have a priest available. Fr. Bob Brisson will be available at the campsite for confessions and benediction on Saturday afternoon and for Mass on Sunday morning.
Below is provided some initial information to help you in planning. More detailed information and a registration link will be sent out in the next few weeks.

Where: HOSTE Community / 326 Dry Pond Rd. Covington, GA 30016
Costs: $25 donation per family for food. Payment can be made at the campsite via cash, PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp.
Initial Details and Suggestions
- You can arrive on Friday, November 14 as early as 4:00pm. Campsite breakdown and clean up will be completed on Sunday by 12:00pm.
- Confession will be available to all on Saturday afternoon upon Fr. Bob's arrival.
- Mass will be celebrated Sunday morning by Father Bob Brisson at the campground, with breakfast served afterwards.
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided on Saturday, November 15. Breakfast will be provided on Sunday morning after Mass. You will be responsible for providing your own meals on Friday evening (before or upon arrival).
- A restroom is located very close to the campsite.
- Air mattresses or sleeping pads for your tent are highly recommended!
