This Pan-European Open NEB Day brings together policymakers, researchers, cultural organisations, and local communities to explore how the New European Bauhaus can actively contribute to the reactivation of cultural heritage across Europe.
The hybrid event will create a shared space for dialogue and inspiration around the three core NEB values: Sustainability, Aesthetics, and Inclusion showcasing innovative practices, community-led approaches, and the transformative potential of architecture, design, and participatory culture.
Participants will reflect on how heritage can become a living resource for more resilient, beautiful, and people-centred urban futures, highlighting experiences from different European contexts and collaborative research initiatives, including the HERITACT project.
