• Digital Video Recorder
• Wiring CCTV system using RG59 & CAT5

Unit 2:

• Introduction to LAN and WAN
• An introduction to TCP/IP
• Networking (LAN, WAN)
• Static IP & Domain Servers
• MAC address and DNS
• Designing tools

Unit 3:

• Video compression (Hard disk calculation)
• Video resolution
• Bandwidth calculation
• Wireless setting for IP camera
• Voltage drop caluclation & hard disk space calculation
• British standards

Unit 4:

• Designing a CCTV system using desigining tools
• Final project on complete designing of a system
