How did AHA collective create the “Point of Reference” contemporary red carpet collection for the 2024 Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival? AHA collective invites you to join a conversation between the artist Davit Kochunts who designed the pieces, the curator Nairi Khatchadourian who managed the art direction of the collection and the red carpet installation, and the collective of women weavers Mariam Nalbandyan, Hasmik Dunamalyan, Arevik Sargsyan, Emma Hakobyan, and Milena Ordiyants, from the workshop Goris Handmade and Woolway Studio, who carefully wove one map of Artsakh at a time a carpet road to question our loss and reimagine our sense of belonging.
