Virtual Best Ride: using Zoom meeting
Virtual Best Ride includes Communication, Customer Service, Conflict Resolution, Understanding the Needs of your Riders, People First Language, Assisting Riders with Mobility Differences and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Virtual Best Ride offers two options: With Securement and Without Securement, and is a 4 hour virtual class.
Please note:
To obtain a securement certification involves completing 3 steps.
Virtual Best Ride class (step 1)
Upon completion of Best Ride, you will be sent information about how to complete online training.
Online training is provided through the National Rural Transportation Assistance Program (RTAP)-(step 2).
Upon completion, email training@rideconnection.org to schedule a Ride Connection securement evaluation (step 3).
This step is to determine proficiency in securing mobility devices. If you are also in need of hands on practice and coaching, this can be scheduled at this time as well.
Please contact training@rideconnection.org if you need securement training as soon as possible.
