The Office of the Attorney General’s Investigations Division will host its 2026 New Hire, Promotion & Acknowledgement Ceremony on Monday, September 14, 2026, in the historic Great Hall at Shepard Hall, 160 Covent Ave, New York, NY. The ceremony will celebrate the accomplishments, advancement, and exceptional service of staff across the Division.
Beginning at noon, attendees will be welcomed by the Master of Ceremonies, followed by an invocation and moment of silence led by Bishop Avery. The program will feature musical entertainment and a formal recognition of executives in attendance, including Attorney General Letitia James and senior leadership from across the Office.
The heart of the ceremony will highlight a wide range of honors—Capstone Leadership recognitions, longevity awards, Excellence Always Awards, Unit Citation Awards, and individual acknowledgements across multiple units including PPTI, SOU, MIU, CIU, MFCU, OCTF, and OSI.
Attorney General Letitia James will deliver remarks and administer the official oaths for new hires, promotions, and executive promotions. A certificate presentation will follow, celebrating accomplishments across investigative and supervisory roles. The ceremony will conclude at 2:00 PM with a special performance and benediction before attendees are invited to enjoy refreshments from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.
This event serves as an opportunity to honor the dedication, professionalism, and excellence demonstrated by the Investigations Division and its members throughout the year.
