You will receive emailed instructions explaining how to begin the course. You will be a student in the Basics course and an instructor in a course template where you will practice what you are learning.
Participants will learn the basic components essential for performing successfully in Blackboard. Such topics as layout, personalizing your course, means of communication with students, managing the Grade Center and many more are addressed in this training. Participants work online at their own pace for a duration of three weeks (approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours/week.) This course is available to all NGU faculty, faculty assistants and staff and is the first in the Certificate process.
