Next on the Decks: Featuring Allison Iraheta

The Continental Club is pleased to present Next on the Decks, a series featuring “non DJ” DJ nights, where notable people from different fields—fashion designers, artists, publicists, celebrities and others try their hand at guided DJ’ing with a professional DJ as a wingman. This week's featured DJ is Allison Iraheta, American Idol star and lead singer of critically-acclaimed band Halo Circus. 

Admired by millions as a finalist on American Idol, Allison Iraheta continues to earn critical acclaim as Allison Iraheta + Halo Circus. This bilingual alternative rock band crafts “anthems for introverts,” as Iraheta digs deep into dark places and transforms this anguish into lush, unforgettable melodies. LA Magazine declares, "Allison Iraheta has moved beyond reality TV, forming a group that Duran Duran bassist John Taylor called ‘the best live band in the U.S.A.’ Think: dark, anthemic rock with a knack for soaring hooks." Iraheta draws from her Salvadoran background as inspiration for Halo Circus’ most popular songs: “Yo Me Voy,” “All I Have,” and “Desire (Lo Que Vale La Pena).” Next up is the release of Halo Circus’ highly anticipated debut album, Bunny, produced by Matthew Hager and mixed by multiple Grammy Award-winner Craig Bauer (Kanye West, Smashing Pumpkins). #FollowTheRabbit
