These sessions will be offered in a blended format and will include in person and virtual sessions. Some in person attendance is required. The dates for the full series are below. The effective learning and engagement of new supervisors and managers is one of the most important initiatives an organization can impart because it a creates a strong relationship between new leaders and the organization. Learning and coaching can quickly and efficiently change new supervisors and managers into engaged, satisfied, and valued leaders in the organization. The creation of a New Supervisor and Manager Cohort gives leaders an opportunity to “settle in” so that they can effectively drive business practices in alignment with both department and organizational strategic goals.
Learning Objectives:
· Provide a broad organizational content for enhanced business outcomes.
· Enhance cross departmental partnership and collaboration.
· Increase engagement and satisfaction for individuals new to leadership positions.
· Reduce the time it takes to “hit the ground running.”
Your Facilitators: Kitty Miller, Chief Administrative Officer and Betsy Glickman
Format: Monthly cohort meetings and monthly individual coaching sessions with Kitty or Betsy.
Time Commitment: In addition to the 8 cohort sessions, you will have the opportunity for 8 coaching sessions of 1-hour each. You should also plan on spending 1 hour per week completing reflection exercises and homework in preparation for the learning sessions.
