AUM's Orientation for New Faculty consists of three components:
1. Self-paced Online Orientation - Hosted in Canvas, this orientation course provides an introduction to the many offices, services, and resources that are valuable and essential to AUM instructors. While this course is self-paced, instructors should complete this course prior to the Campus Welcome event. You will be automatically registered in this course. Look for a notification in your AUM email account.
2. Campus Welcome event - This campus-based meeting features a Luncheon, welcome from leadership, and supplemental information sessions. (August 12th, 11am - 2pm - Taylor Center 223). Please complete this registration form to RSVP for this event.
3. AUM Canvas Training - All instructors must be AUM Canvas trained (FDI-Canvas), before they can access their courses in Canvas. We offer a wide range of face-to-face and online training options. Click here for more information and to register for training.
$300 Stipend
Upon completion of all these components, full-time faculty will be eligible to receive a $300 stipend (applied to their AUM paycheck after their contract begins).
