NASW DC Metro 2018 Spring Practice Symposium 
The Micro/Macro Connection in Aging Services  
Presented by: NASW DC Metro Social Workers in Aging

Join NASW DC Metro Chapter and the Social Workers in Aging Shared Interest Group as we explore the varying issues that impact practitioners and clients in the field of aging and gerontology.  This full day intensive training will include panels and individual presentations on Medicaid/Medicare, Social Isolation, Homelessness, Workforce and Retirement Issues, and Implications for the LGBT Community.  Attendees will receive 6 contact hours of continuing education credit, including the 2 hours of required LGBTQ Cultural Competency for 2019 license renewal. 

Date: Friday, March 16, 2018, 9:00am to 4:45pm
(Registration opens at 8:30a.m.)

6 contact hours of overall continuing education credit will be available for attendees, including 2 contact hours of LGBTQ Cultural Competency (See DC Board of Social Work) and is included in the registration fee.

Cost:  $95 NASW Members (20% savings!)

Cancellation Policy
PLEASE NOTE REFUND POLICIES: NASW-DC Metro will only refund registrations for cancellations made at least 2 business days/48 hours in advance of the workshops, minus a $10 administrative processing fee NASW-DC reserves the right to cancel workshops with low registration.

Note on accommodations: If you require accommodations to permit your attendance or participation, please provide a written request along with completed registration form and conference payment at least 30 days prior to the registration deadline for the workshop or conference. Requests received after this deadline may not be received in time to process and be fulfilled in time for the activity. Thank you.
