This event brings together hundreds of journalists, communications specialists, media professionals, and students of all backgrounds for a stellar lineup of panel discussions, workshops, skills-based training, and a job fair. We're here to support our local journalists and comms professionals as they chart thriving careers in the ever-changing media industry.

The National Association of Black Journalists of Los Angeles was formed in 1980 (as Black Journalists Association of Southern California, BJASC) to provide advocacy for Black journalists in the Los Angeles area and encourage balanced news coverage of the Black community. NABJLA also provides professional development, builds community, works in state & local advocacy, and encourages taking care.
