This year, we are pleased to announce that our 67th Annual Meeting and Educational Conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza Lansing West, October 5-7, 2022.
The Michigan Society Board of Directors and Annual Meeting Committee have not made the decision to hold an in-person event in haste, nor have we taken the events of this pandemic lightly. Covid will be a part of our lives forever. However, as we have studied the recommendations of the national and state agencies, we are confident in the safety of our members during this meeting. The conference center is following all cleaning and sanitizing recommendations: read more about the hotel’s cleaning practices and covid19 policy at https://www.ihgplc.com/en/about-us/our-response-to-covid-19. As we get closer to conference, we will continue to monitor the local COVID 19 guidelines for attendance and will post any updates on the MSRT website (www.msrt.org).
Because we want you to be comfortable while attending your conference, the following are a few items we want to highlight:
-
- As always, some rooms will be cold to you and hot to others, so dress accordingly.
- While Covid is still with us, should you prefer to wear a mask and/or gloves during the conference, please feel free to do so.
- There will be hand sanitizer stations throughout the hotel for your use.
- Sessions are scheduled in 55 min increments with a 5 min break. Please limit your exiting and entering sessions as this is a disturbance to speakers and audiences. The next session start times will be announced before breaks begin.
Sadly the hotel room discount/block has ended, but there are still rooms available at the hotel. To book your hotel room, call (877) 322-5544.
AGENDA:
Earn as many as 20 CEs (pending ASRT approval) over the course of 2 1/2 days. This year, there will be a student track as well as our professional track and lectures will be based on the ARRT Exam Specifications. We are also working with the ARRT to offer opportunities for CQR credits to those that may be in need. As in years past, we plan to offer eight credits per day on Wednesday and Thursday and four credits on Friday (Friday is a half day program and ends at noon). All sessions have been submitted and approved for CQR (all three days, all sessions). More info on that to come soon!
*Please be aware that while we try to stick to a specific time/speaker schedule, this schedule can change at a moment's notice. We appreciate your understanding*
