The professional capacity of classroom teachers is crucial for nurturing students' successes. Teacher capacity refers to the knowledge, skills, abilities, and dispositions of teachers to empower classroom environments to flourish and grow. Therefore, to cultivate educational environments which focus on strong and sustained growth opportunities, the notion of “motivating the unmotivated” becomes an essential element. The goal of this session is to better equip leaders to grow and retain their most valuable assets in the educational process – the teacher and student – through the 5 A’s: Acclamation, Appeal, Arrangement, Action and Advisement.
